Day One of the build

The Kiwi Team (L to R) Neil, Tony, Tracey, Andrea, Rob, Rick, Ron
Aaron, Dean,Shane, Megan and Me (James is on the House Leader Bus)

Interesting ride to the site. 11km from Phnom Pehn - trip took two hours! There was a strike and the bus had to turn around - turned into an episode of dangerous roads.  The driver took a short cut (yeah right nek minute we are filling potholes with rocks from the side of the road, removing big drain pipes so that the buses could get through) Of course it was the Kiwis who got off the bus and sorted it.

Some of the locals via the shortcut, apparently they think we are French people.

Finally arrive at the site to be greeted by school children singing to us.

Food tent.  In front is the stage.

Our house # 7.  We made our presence known. Pissed the Irish and the Yanks off.

Leaning columns - source of frustration for our builders.

We have had a lot of celebrities while on the build with film crews.  A documentary film crew from Poland was there with the Polish Princess.  She is behind Dean posing in the rice paddies.  Dean was quite taken with her.
